The first ever Stock Market took place at Northampton International Raceway on Sunday 8th December 2002 and was a great success for both buyers and sellers and every year it has grown and become bigger and better. Over the years an assortment of race cars of been sold along with an abundance of spares plus transporters and plenty of traders busy selling the wares. Lots of bargains have gone to new homes over the years and we have had plenty of enquiries for Stock Market 08.

The general idea of a Stock Market event if to allow drivers to empty their workshops of items that they no longer require but that may be perfect for an up and coming race driver to start their career with. This is the ideal opportunity to kit out your garage at a cheaper price. Not only are cars on offer but workshop equipment, race trailers, transporters, plenty of trade stands selling all types of race kit to merchandise stands.

It’s also a great opportunity for Traders to display or sell parts to these visitors as they will be looking to buy racewear and consumables, spares and possibly cars before Christmas so that they have presents for partners, or cars to work on over the Winter period. It’s the ideal chance to clear your stock at the quieter time of year. We have already had an excellent response from the majority traders that participated in last years event wishing to reserve space for Stock Market 2008. Traders are more than welcome to set up their own stands / displays under covered area, however if you would like to hire undercover space, please ask for more details. Space is no problem, feel free to spread out as much as possible – there is no extra charge!

We will also have an area where people can bring their cars to sell, along with race trailers and other vehicles. There will be plenty of space for cars to open their boots and lay out your used equipment. Even though this is the seventh Stock Market we are keeping prices at the bare minimum once again in order to make it even bigger and better and first impressions indicate that it is going to be huge.

If you would like to join us for this years event, simply complete the booking form and return it to Stock Market 08, Newfield Garage, Marchington Woodlands, Uttoxeter, Staffs. ST14 8PB. Cheques can be made payable to S.L. Promotions and this will secure your place, alternatively you can telephone with credit card details. You can pay for your stall / space on the day, however please be aware that you will only receive one free admission ticket. Extra admissions will be asked to pay the gate fee of £5 per person, so it makes sense to pay when you book and receive free passes as indicated on the booking form. Also, feel free to enclose as much info as possible about your company / stall and any race cars that you maybe selling – all info sent will be used in press releases, websites and promotion prior to the main event as this will give the general public even more reason to come along.
